Fall Crock Pot Main Entrees


Crock Pots went out of vogue for a long time, but now have come back with a vengeance. These recipes are my all time favorites. It is melt in your mouth good.

 

 

Crock Pot Pulled Pork


5 pound boneless pork butt (shoulder)
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
2   teaspoons black pepper
1   teaspoon cayenne
1   teaspoon dried thyme
1   teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1   cup water

Cooking Directions
Combine all the seasonings in a small bowl and rub evenly over roast. Place meat in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add water. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours or until pork is very tender.
Remove pork to a large cutting board or platter and let rest for 10-15 minutes. Pull, slice or chop to serve. Serve in buns with barbecue sauce.

Crock Pot Roast

 
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup                             
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 1/4 cups water
5 1/2 pounds pot roast
`
 
 
 
 
Directions:
  1. Place beef roast in crock pot.
  2. Mix the dried mixes together in a bowl and sprinkle over the roast.
  3. Pour the water around the roast.
  4. Cook on low for 7-9 hours.
